Selecting a Service Type

Some services have multiple types or paths, depending on what you want to submit.

For your service, select your type of submittal and then click Continue.

Air Administrative Amendment

There are three types of administrative amendment online services that can be used for different types of air permits:

Change Ownership/Facility Name/Owner or Operator Name/Location Only: This option allows name changes that will not affect emissions data or permit requirements for the facility. Service can be used by facilities with Capped, Registration, General, or Individual Permits. Only Registration permit holders can use the change in location service.
Extension of Deadline Only: This option allows extensions for up to 120 days. If you want to extend a deadline by more than 120 days, you need to return to the previous screen and choose the "Other Administrative Amendment" option. For Individual Permits only.
Other Administrative Amendments: This option allows you to make other administrative changes listed in Minn. R. 7007.1400 that are not covered by the two previously listed administrative amendment online services. For Individual Permits only.

There are three types of field work notifications:

New: Select this option to initially notify the MPCA of proposed field work at a remediation site.
Modification: Select this option if you have previously submitted a field work notification but need to modify scheduled work dates and times, types of field work to be performed, or field staff or subcontractors on the notification.
Cancellation: Select this option if you have previously submitted a notification but want to cancel the scheduled field work.

There are three types of regulated waste notifications:

Initial: Select this option if your site does not have a hazardous waste identification number (HWID), also known as an EPA ID.
Modification of Existing Hazardous Waste Activity: Select this option if your site has a HWID, and you need to update or correct any information except for site address. If the site address is incorrect, stop the notification process and contact the MPCA Hazardous Waste Program at 800-657-3864 or hw-licensing.pca@state.mn.us.
Inactivation: Select this option if your site has closed, your operations have moved, or you are no longer generating or managing hazardous waste.
