Providing Location Information

Some services require you to provide location information about your project or facility, and some require you to review existing information and update and add to it as needed.

Features by Service

Depending on the service, the Location page may have unique features or requirements.

Air Administrative Amendment (Change)

Either an address or a location description is required. Your latitude and longitude measurements should be taken from the approximate center of the facility’s physical location. If, because of site configuration (like an irregular shape), the "center" would be outside the site, the measurements should be taken from a point on-site that is closest to the approximate center of the site.

If the location is in the city of Minneapolis, you will be required to upload an attachment of a map showing the exact location of the facility.

Construction Stormwater General Permit Application

Either an address or a location description is required. Your latitude and longitude measurements should be taken from the approximate center of the construction site. If, because of site configuration (like an irregular shape), the "center" would be outside the construction site, the measurements should be taken from a point on-site that is closest to the approximate center of the construction site.

Feedlot NPDES/SDS Permit Application

A location description is required. Your latitude and longitude measurements should be taken from the approximate center of the feedlot. If, because of site configuration (like an irregular shape), the "center" would be outside the feedlot site, the measurements should be taken from a point on-site that is closest to the approximate center of the feedlot.

Voluntary Remediation Program Enrollment Application

The Facility Name is the name that you want assigned to the site. MPCA staff may rename the site at their discretion.

The Address is the physical address of the site.

The Map button allows you to zoom in on your site to automatically populate the coordinate information. You may select the map type (Road, Automatic, or Aerial) to more easily identify your site location. If possible, please select the middle of the site as your site location.
